Freestanding emergency department opportunities across Corpus Christi, Texas, with day or night shifts available and travel and lodging covered.

Highlights

• 12-hour shifts (6a-6p or 6p-6a), you choose days or nights
• Multiple freestanding ED sites, choose where to work
• Fast onboarding with shadow shifts and streamlined credentialing

Practice Setting

• Freestanding EDs with 8 to 15 beds per site
• One physician per shift with APP support daily
• Serves both adult and pediatric patients
• No inpatient follow-up required

Schedule

• Ongoing need, work as little or as often as you'd like
• Block or PRN scheduling options, great for supplemental income
• Sites include Rockport, Portland, and Northwest Corpus Christi
• No call required

Cases and Procedures

• Full-scope emergency medicine including trauma, STEMI, OB, and pediatric cases
• Procedures include intubations, central lines, chest tubes, dislocations, and laceration repair
• Approximately 10 percent admission rate with efficient support for high-acuity patients

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with EM experience
• Active Texas license and DEA
• ATLS preferred

Travel and Accommodations

• Airfare, rental car, and lodging provided
