Description
The faculty member will have a vision of the skills, expertise, and knowledge needed by the osteopathic physician of the future, as well as the curriculum needed to provide these outcomes. This position assists the Department Chair and colleagues in the planning, directing, and implementation of college programs, policies, and procedures, and assists in the development and teaching of curricula that integrate the different specialty areas in team-based, large, and small group learning environments.
The faculty member will participate in: 1 Teaching and assessment 2. Service to the school community and profession by serving on committees, advising and mentoring students, participating in student recruitment and informational events, be an ambassador for the school 3. Conduct scholarly work such as outside presentations, participate in educational and other research activities, mentor student scholarly works, produce publications.
The faculty member may be asked to participate in teaching osteopathic manipulative medicine diagnosis and treatment as a table trainer.

-Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and enthusiasm to contribute to faculty/staff/student growth and development
-Strong oral and written communication and computer skills
-Preference is given to people with prior teaching in the undergraduate or graduate medical space
