Internal Medicine or Family Physician in New York - Outpatient Only, Spanish Required

Full-time locums opportunity in Brooklyn serving a primarily Medicare-aged, Spanish-speaking population; no call or procedures required.

Highlights

• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p; flexible 4- or 5-day schedule
• No call, no weekends, no procedures
• Weekly pay, travel and lodging included
• Fast credentialing (~30 days)

Practice Setting

• Outpatient-only clinic in Flatbush (Brooklyn)
• Majority of patients aged 65+
• Support staff includes NPs, RNs, and MAs/scribes
• Uses Canopy/Greenway EMR

Schedule

• Full-time, 3-month assignment to start
• Option to work 4 days/week (32 hours)
• Spanish-speaking required

Cases and Procedures

• Traditional primary care: HTN, DM, hyperlipidemia, CAD, CHF
• Mild cognitive impairment and chronic care management
• 16-18 patients/day

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active New York license
• DEA required
• Must speak Spanish fluently
