- Compensation Range: $49.27 - 73.90/hour

EDUCATION:
Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum that is approved by the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education.
EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year inpatient acute hospital experience as a certified Occupational Therapist (preferred).
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Occupational Therapist Required at hire
- Basic Life Support Required within 90 days of hire
- Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) Required within 30 days of hire
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Billable patient contact of at least 67%.
- Perform evaluation of functional performance of inpatients and establishes a plan of treatment consistent with occupational therapy Scope of Practice, involving the patient and his/her family in the design, goals and plan of treatment
- Evaluates effectiveness and outcomes of occupational therapy interventions including the patient’s and family’s response to therapeutic interventions
- Works proactively with health care team (nursing, dietary, PT, speech pathology, physicians, etc) to continually assess patient’s discharge planning needs and ensure timely discharge of patient
- Functions independently in performing occupational therapy treatments, which may include, but are not limited to, retraining in self-care, neuro re-education, functional mobility, upper extremity function, home safety, splinting and visual-perception, cognitive retraining activities
- Identifies a patient and significant other’s specific learning needs and plans appropriate teaching interventions
- Attend staff meetings and in-services as appropriate
- Provide information to Occupational Therapy Supervisor about complicated patient situations.

The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth’s compensation philosophy. Positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by those agreements.
