The Department of Internal Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center is seeking an Internal Medicine Clinical Preceptor for the ambulatory practice. This role will involve the supervision and education of medical students, interns and residents at the adult medical clinic.

Position Highlights:

• Supervise the conduct and quality of clinical ambulatory care provided by internal medicine residents and medical students.
• Participate in establishing goals and objectives of the ambulatory curriculum and practice guidelines.
• Oversee the quality of care provided by residents, including supervising residents' practice-based learning goals, ensuring residents achieve quality performance metrics for their practice panels, and supervising residents' quality improvement projects.
• Perform assessment and evaluation of resident and student performance.
• Provide direct primary general internal medicine care services in the academic faculty practice
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Medical Degree
• Experience teaching and precepting medical residents
• New Jersey Medical License
• Board Certification or Eligibility ABIM
