McLeod Health is seeking a Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician with a focus in OB for one of our rural campus locations, McLeod Health Clarendon. McLeod Health Clarendon was founded in 1951 as the Clarendon Hospital District located in Manning, South Carolina, the county seat of Clarendon County. This hospital has 81 acute-care beds and offers modern facilities designed to support a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including operating rooms, a full-service emergency department, same day surgery, and comfortable patient rooms. Details and requirements:
- Faculty Physician interested in practicing full spectrum family medicine and women's care including prenatal care.
- OB call, deliveries, and operative OB needs required for this rural hospital.
- Works as liaison between obstetrics, pediatrics and family medicine department.
- Has own clinic panel and precepts residents in family medicine clinic and women’s/OB clinic.
- Supervises residents in the hospital on labor and delivery, newborn nursery, and postpartum.
